Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 July 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of iKita (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

iKita is a non-fiscal shop-management tool for recording sales, tracking inventory, and viewing business reports. It is not a BIR-accredited receipting system. You remain responsible for issuing your customers their official BIR-registered invoice or receipt as required by law.

Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when you sign up.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for the activity of any staff or users you allow to access your account.

Trial and subscription

New accounts start with a free trial. After the trial, continued access requires an active subscription. Pricing, billing, and cancellation terms will be presented before any charge applies. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

Your data and content

You own the data you enter into iKita. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process that data solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to collect and store any personal data you enter, including your customers' details.

Customer profile redaction is available during beta for privacy requests and accidental personal-data cleanup. Redaction removes identifying customer profile details while retaining historical sales references, reports, and audit evidence needed for business integrity.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but it is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iKita is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Service.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to accounts that violate these Terms or that present a security or legal risk. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be communicated through the Service.
